Two new eform tags will be added in our next release:
"Patient Preferred Name"
"Patient's Pronouns"
These will be available in the Avaros eForm builder starting next week (March 20, 2026).

Currently, there is no tag in the eForm builder to autopopulate the "preferred name" field. Many forms have a spot for a patient's preferred name, and it would make sense for us to be able to add that tag to the eForm so that it autopopulates.

I made this request also in August 2025 -- Mohammed Loubani can the two threads be merged?

This can perhaps use the "patient_alias" database tag? As I noticed it when creating eForms, but it does not seem to correspond to the Preferred Name field. (or any other field as far as I can tell?)
