Include a link in their confirmation message that allows them to cancel or reschedule their appointment.

Please make it so that patients with expired health cards in the system can not book an appointment via the online portal. Additionally, it would be great if they could update their health card online on their own (i.e: via medley) without needing to call the office.

Right now patients book directly, there is no quality control check. In other EMRs (such as Accuro), you have the option to enact controls/permissions, such that your reception team reviews all online appt requests and either approves, denies, or denies with alternative suggestion. This feature would be most useful if allowed to be customized by appointment type.

When a provider discontinues offering a specific appointment type, the system should remove the provider's name from the available options, rather than displaying a message indicating the provider is temporarily unavailable. The current system creates false expectations for patients and negatively impacts the ability to match patients with providers who offer the desired service.

Could you add a Report or Dashboard of the # of appointments booked online over a certain period of time (to be defined by user). Could select one or more of the providers who have enable OAB. Thanks!

Would be great if there was a link in the confirmation email to allow rescheduling or cancellation, similar to OpenTable for example. Perhaps as well an option in the online booking link for pt to enter their info and see any upcoming appt, to be able to cancel from the link. Related, an email reminder of upcoming appt would be useful, with a customizable time frame (ie 1 week before appt) which would include a link to rebook or cancel. The sooner patient lets us know they can't make appt the easier it is to fill the spot.

for "allow pt to book ahead by x days" would be useful if this could be customized by appt type

Allow the order of providers listed in the online booking drop-down to be organized by the clinic.

Would it be possible to add the date and time that appointments are booked online to the "log" section in the appointment window? So we can see when the appointment was booked through the online system. Patients will book appointments online then call for sooner appointments and this would make it possible to to see what the most recent appointment booking is.

If a non-rostered patient hasn't been seen in person in the past 2 years, telephone appointments get paid a reduced fee. It would be great if there was a checkbox in the master record that identified people that can only book in-person appointments. It would be ideal if online booking could read that setting and not allow a phone appointment and also, if they call in for an appointment, it would be great if the telephone modality was not an option. This might be relevant for other patients where it's difficult to sort out issues on the phone.
